R1 : 1-10C-alkyl; R2 : 1-10C-alkylene (optionally contains one or more heteroatoms and optionally one or more C-C multiple bonds); and n : 0-3. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# The composition is useful as adhesives, sealants or coatings. (I) is useful for increasing the storage stability of the composition (all claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The composition exhibits: high storage stability in the non-cured state; and good temperature resistance in the cured State. #CMT#INORGANIC CHEMISTRY : #/CMT# Preferred Composition: The composition further comprises: a catalyst comprising tertiary aromatic amine, transition metal salt or transition metal complex; and at least one metal oxide of a two- or tri-valent metal comprising magnesium oxide (preferred), calcium oxide or zinc oxide. Preferred Components: The metal (meth)acrylate is zinc di(meth)acrylate or a mixture of zinc dimethacrylate and zinc diacrylate. The amount of metal (meth)acrylate is 0.1-20 (preferably 8-12) wt.%, relative to the total amount of the composition. #CMT#ORGANIC CHEMISTRY : #/CMT# Preferred Composition: The composition further comprises at least one radical generator, which is peroxide, hydroperoxide or peresters, preferably dibenzoylperoxide. The composition is two-component, where the first component comprises the radically polymerizable monomer, and the second component comprises the radical generator. Preferred Components: The radically polymerizable monomer is a methacrylate, preferably methylmethacrylate, tetrahydrofurfurylmethacrylate, cyclohexylmethacrylate, isobornylmethacrylate or trimethylcyclohexylmethacrylate.
