The invention relates to phycobiotechnology, particularly to a process for obtaining phospholipids form microalgae biomass that can be used in the pharmaceutical industry for the production of antiatherogenic preparations. The process, according to the invention, includes freezing-unfreezing and homogenization of Spirulina platensis biomass, extraction thereof with 96% ethyl alcohol in a volumetric ratio respectively of (1...2):10, at the temperature of 60?C during 60 min, distillation of alcohol, dissolution of extract with a mixture of chloroform and ethanol taken in a volumetric ratio of 95:5 and sedimentation of phospholipids with acetone at the temperature of 0?C.
