PURPOSE: A sun chasing apparatus is provided to automatically keep a solar cell plate horizontal by sensing the malfunction due to the excessive rotation, rotation finishing according to the moving track of sun, or night time. CONSTITUTION: A sun chasing apparatus comprises a sun chasing sensor unit(60), a solar cell plate, a rotation sensor part(70), a wind speed sensing unit. The sun chasing sensor unit outputs signal by tracing the moving track of the sun. The solar cell plate is installed on one side of a body. The rotation sensor part outputs signal by sensing the rotation state of the solar cell plate. A controller adjusts the rotation of the solar cell plate by controlling a motor. A sensor part assembly(80) is formed by integratedly unifying the sun chasing sensor unit and the rotation sensor part. The sensor part assembly is fixed to one end of the solar cell plate and is rotated with the solar cell plate. The wind speed sensing unit keeps the solar cell plate horizontal by outputting the control signal when strong wind is generated. |
