The wedge (1) has symmetrical parts (6, 7) extending on both sides of a longitudinal axis (XX') with a distance between each other to define a space (e), corresponding to an adjusting range of variable width (l) of the wedge, where the wedge is a quadrangular plate. The parts are connected between each other in a same plane by deformable connection units (8, 9). The space is formed of rectilinear sections alternating with curved sections.
