The device for tensioning a side tarpaulin (5) held at the top of a vehicle structure comprises at least one tensioner (4) arranged in the area of the lower end of the tarpaulin and connected to it. Statically arranged on the vehicle structure is a buttress (3) for the tensioner and a device is provided, with which the tensioner can be fixed in its tensioning position on the buttress. The buttress in its cross-section on the upper side has a downwardly open insert pocket (10) and in the area of its lower end has a locking edge (14). Between the locking edge and the pocket is a downwardly acting stop component (12). The tensioner is formed as a lever and has a basic component (15) connected with the tarpaulin. |
