<p>An optical device comprises a non-transparent substrate. The optical device further comprises a first nonmovable mirror layer which is at least partially transmissive and at least partially reflective to incident light, and a second non-transparent mirror layer formed on the substrate. The second mirror layer is spaced from the first mirror layer. The second mirror layer is movable between a fast position at a fast distance from the first mirror layer and a second position at a second distance from the first mirror layer. Movement of the second mirror layer between the fast and second positions modulates the reflectivity of the device.</p> |
