PURPOSE: A novel Lactobacillus johnsonii is provided to reduce is provided to reduce total cholesterol value and increase HDL value. CONSTITUTION: A Lactobacillus johnsonii HFI 108(KCTC 11356BP) strain having blood cholesterol reduction and anti-obesity activity contains a sequence of sequence number 1. The Lactobacillus johnsonii HFI 108(KCTC 11356BP) is isolated from Kimchi. A feed supplementary composition contains Lactobacillus johnsonii HFI 108 as an active ingredient. A egg having reduced cholesterol content is produce by feeding 10^7~10^10/feed g of the composition to the egg. Milk having low cholesterol content is produced by adding 10^7~10^10/feed g of the composition to the milk.
