PURPOSE: A dish washer is provided to decide whether drainage of washing water stored in a sump is implemented or not, based on the turbidity value. CONSTITUTION: A tub accepts and washes dishes. A sump is arranged in the tub, and stores washing water. A pump(150) discharges the washing water stored in the sump to the outside. A turbidity sensor(180) is arranged in the sump, and measures the turbidity value of the washing water. A controller(160) controls the pump by deciding the level of the washing water in the sump, based on the measured turbidity value.
