PURPOSE: An upturn reflective sheet for back light and a backlight unit using the same are provided to reflect the light and heat of a light source upward, thereby decreasing temperature around the light source. CONSTITUTION: A triangular reflection bar of an isosceles triangle shape(11) reflects the light and heat of a light source upward. In the triangular reflection bar, a slope is formed from the upper end vertex to the lower end vertex of both sides of the triangular reflection bar. A slope surface(12) is used as a reflecting surface. The triangular reflection bar comprises horizontal triangular reflection bars(11-1) and vertical triangular reflection bars(11-2). A space part is formed in the bottom side of the triangular reflection bar. The horizontal triangular reflection bars and the vertical triangular reflection bars maintain at a predetermined interval for each other.
