PURPOSE: A portable terminal canceling the inconvenience that a user directly re-inputs a key and a telephone dialing method using the same are provided to recall the inputted key input conveniently. CONSTITUTION: A controller has an interval check unit(710) and a key input designating unit(720). In case successive a plurality of key inputs has, the interval check unit checks the time interval between the key input of the previous and the current key input. The key input specification unit designates consecutive key inputs having the key interval satisfying criteria ranger in a key input group. A key storing unit(730) stores designated key input groups.
