PURPOSE: A measuring device for a liquid height and a measuring method using thereof are provided to measure the height of liquid stored in a storage simply. CONSTITUTION: A measuring device for a liquid height(10) comprises a display pipe(30) and a connection pipe(40). The display pipe installed outside of a storage(20) is arranged in a vertical direction to liquid(21) stored in the storage. The display pipe displays the height of the liquid stored in the storage by maintaining liquid existed inside with the liquid stored in the storage. One end of the connection pipe is connected with the display pipe, and the other end is submerged in the liquid stored in the storage. The connection pipe is located inside of the storage through an entrance of the storage for storing the liquid.
