PURPOSE: A transmission line for a high frequency and an impedance converter using the same are provided to secure variable impedance property and a short wavelength property by periodically arranging a capacitive element between a line unit and a ground unit of the transmission line. CONSTITUTION: A transmission line(100) includes a line unit(110), a ground unit(130), and a diode(150). The lien unit is formed in one side of the substrate. The line unit transmits the electric signal of a high frequency like a microwave and an RF signal. The ground unit is formed in one side or the other side of the substrate. The diode is periodically arranged between the line unit and the ground unit. The anode electrode of the diode is connected to the line unit. The cathode electrode of the diode is connected to the ground unit. The transmission line is comprised of the inductance element according to the length of the line unit, the capacitance element formed between the line unit and the ground unit, and the variable capacitance element by the periodically arranged diode. |
