PURPOSE: A flap gate apparatus is provided to reduce deformation and the damage of the various parts including the drive motor. CONSTITUTION: The door(20) is opened and closed. The door axis of rotation is combined in the end of door to the vertical direction. The drive motor(30) comprises the driving axis parallelly arranged to door axis of rotation. A plurality of power transmission gear(40) transfers the driving force of the drive motor to the door axis of rotation. The angle measuring unit(50) measures the rotational angle and angular speed of the drive motor. The controller(60) decelerates the rotational speed of door with angle and velocity information of the angle measure.
