PURPOSE: A thin stacked polarizing plate and method of manufacturing thereof are provided to reduce the thickness of polarizer by excluding the transparent supporting body used as the polarizer protection film. CONSTITUTION: The polarized light device(10) is made of the polyvinyl alcohol film. The upper transparent support(20) is attached to the upper side of the polarized light device. The compensation film(30) is directly attached to the state extended to the light axis and regular angle of the polarized light device without the adhesive to the lower-part of the polarized light device. The pressure sensitive adhesive layer(40) is spread in order to adhere the compensation film and liquid crystal cell.
