PURPOSE: An overslam bumper for a vehicle is provided to appropriately keep the assembly posture of a door at the uniform quality level without influence by the seal gap distribution. CONSTITUTION: An overslam bumper for a vehicle comprises a main body(100). A screw thread(110) is formed in the outer circumference of one side of the main body. The bumper is screw-combined in a mounting hole of a door through the screw thread. The bumper is compressed to the vehicle body by a contact ring(120) formed in the other end of the bumper. The contact ring includes an edge contact ring(130). The side(131) of the edge contact ring is contacted when the bumper is compressed to the vehicle body. The edge contact ring is projected from the edge of the other end of the main body.
