PURPOSE: A digital filtering method for 3D space data processing is provided to improve performance using a spectral method using double Fourier series on image data. CONSTITUTION: A base function of double Fourier series comprises a function satisfying an extreme condition. If east and west wave numbers are even, the first differential value of the base function is 0. If the east and west wave numbers are odd, the base function becomes a single sine function. Noise cancellation and smoothing are performed at high speed. |
