APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR NONINVASIVELY MEASURING BLOOD SUGAR

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for noninvasively measuring blood sugar are provided to improve reliability by obtaining a blood sugar value through extracting the intensity of light scattered on a blood vessel and exactly measuring the blood sugar value. CONSTITUTION: A light-emitting part(100) emits the light on a skin in which a specific blood vessel exists. A pressing part(110) presses the skin in which the specific blood vessel exists and blocks the specific blood vessel. The light detecting part(120) detects the scattered light and outputs the signals. A blood sugar value extracting part(150) extracts the intensity of the scattered light which is detected. The pressing part is a cuff.
