A working element of a chisel cultivator comprises a bent stilt with a front sharpened side which has a cross-section as a triangular wedge, and soil-lifting expanders fixed on the stilt at an acute angle to the horizontal line. The front sharpened side of the stilt is made as wedge-like ledges connected between each other by inclined sides. Grooves of a cylindrical shape in which rollers projecting above the inclined sides of the ledges are arranged horizontally are made in the ledges across the stilt.
