A method for diagnostics of the myofascial pain syndrome comprises the palpation for determination of a trigger point. In addition the electroeffect by sinusoid modulated current is carried out. The amount of sensoric and pain threshold values of current is determined on which size the intensity of pathological symptomes is determined.
