PURPOSE: A charging device for an electric double layer capacitor is provided to simply constitute a driver circuit as a constant voltage circuit is unnecessary to charge fixed voltage to an electric double layer capacitor. CONSTITUTION: Plural first, second, and third electric double layer capacitors(301,302, 303) are charged in normal times and are used as a backup battery in emergency. A power supply part(300) produces charging voltage. The first, the second, and the third diode(304, 305, 306) connect the anode to an output terminal(300a) of the power supply part and connect the cathode to plus terminals of the first, the second, and the third electric double layer capacitor. The first, the second, and the third electric double layer capacitor are connected in parallel in charge and connected serially in emergency to output charged power. A connection part(307) comprises a coil(307a) offering the suction force in which the contact terminal is operated. A relay(313) and a relay drive part(312) operate to connect the both terminals of the third electric double layer capacitor to a load(314). |
