A METHOD TO PROVIDE A WIDGET, AND TV USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A widget providing method and a TV applied with the same are provided to search widgets related to a specific keyword among widgets provided from a plurality of CPs and classify the searched widgets according to the CP. CONSTITUTION: An interface(260) receives widgets from a plurality of CPs(Contents Providers). A controller(270) searches widgets related to a specific keyword among the widgets, and displays the searched widgets in a widget search list where the widgets are classified according to the CP. If at least one widget is selected form the displayed widget search list, the controller receives the widget from the CP corresponding to the selected widget and displays the received widget on a screen.
