PURPOSE: A metal pattern forming method is provided to form a desired metal pattern by forming the plating base pattern of the embossment corresponding to the metal pattern. CONSTITUTION: A plating base pattern(15) of intaglio and the embossment corresponding to the metal pattern is formed on the surface of a metal plate(11). The metal electro-forming plating is performed on the surface of the metal plate in which the plating base pattern is formed. The plating base pattern is formed into the raised pattern. A lacquer layer(13) is formed on the surface of the metal plate. The metal electro-forming plating is performed until a metal layer(17) without is formed on the part without plating base pattern of embossment and the desired metal layer(19) is formed on the plating basis pattern image.
