PURPOSE: A power control method of a broadcasting receiving apparatus is provided to supply VoIP power according to a power supply condition to perform a voice call if a VoIP signal is received and cut off VoIP power if a voice call ends, thereby preventing unnecessary power consumption. CONSTITUTION: VoIP power for VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) voice signal processing and a VoIP phone is cut off according to a power supply condition(304). It is checked whether a VoIP signal is received(306). If the VoIP signal is received, a voice call is performed by receiving the VoIP power(310). If the voice call ends, the supply of the VoIP power is cut off(314). |
