PURPOSE: A vertical shaft wind power generating apparatus is provided to freely control the facility size and the amount of the generated electricity and to facilitate the construction and maintenance by piling up rotors. CONSTITUTION: A vertical shaft wind power generating apparatus comprises a rotor(10), a frame(20), and a coupling. A tower type rotor is constructed by perpendicularly piling up rotor blocks(1a). Blades are radially installed in the center shaft of the rotor block. Plural through holes are formed in the blade. One or more of upper and lower parts of the center shaft is supported to the frame through a bearing. The frame comprises an upper part, a lower part, and plural posts. The upper and lower parts support the rotor. The plural posts have piled connections(25) mutually corresponded at upper and lower ends while supporting the upper and lower parts. A bearing supporting the center shaft is installed in one or more of the upper and lower parts. Couplings are formed at upper and lower ends of the center shaft so that the center shaft is perpendicularly connected. |
