PURPOSE: A process for producing polyketone is provided to improve catalyst activation of polyketone and inherent viscosity by using 2 kinds of acid mixture as a catalyst component and adding TiO2 in polymerization. CONSTITUTION: A process for producing polyketone comprises a step of copolymerizing carbon monoxide and ethylenically unsaturated compound in the presence of (a) Group 9, 10, and 11 transition metal compounds, (b) ligand containing Group 15 element, and (c) organometallic complex catalyst consisting of acid ions with pKa of 4 or less in a liquid medium. The (a) component is palladium acetate, the (b) component is 1,3-bis[di(2-methoxyphenyl)phospino]propane and the (c) component is a mixture of 2 kinds of acid with pKa of 4 or less.
