DISPLAY PANEL AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE DISPLAY PANEL

PURPOSE: A display panel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to harden photocure particles in a state of applying an exposure voltage higher than the maximum data voltage between a pixel electrode and a common electrode, thereby shortening time required to harden the photocure particles. CONSTITUTION: A display panel comprises a first substrate(100), a second substrate(200) and a liquid crystal layer(300). The first substrate has a pixel electrode(140). The second substrate has a common electrode(240). The liquid crystal layer has a plurality of liquid crystal particles(310) and a plurality of photocure particles(320) between the first substrate and the second substrate. In a state of applying a high exposure voltage between the pixel electrode and the common electrode, light is irradiated to the display panel. The exposure voltage is higher than the maximum data voltage corresponding to the maximum gray value of the display panel. A part of the photocure particles are hardened.
