PURPOSE: A printing control device, a printing control method, and a computer-readable storage medium are provided to create a special effect like gloss on a printed material using special color toner such as cleaner toner. CONSTITUTION: A graphic engine(201) sets up the output of the application(200) at the printer driver(202). The graphic engine changes the GDI(Graphic Device Interface) function received from the application into the DDI(Device Driver Interface) function. The printer driver changes the DDI function received from the graphic engine into the printer control command. A system spooler(203) outputs the transformed printer control command as described above as print data in the printer(150).
