PURPOSE: A mat winding device is provided to prevent slip and abrasion of a shaft by rotating the shaft, in which the mat is rolled, directly with a motor. CONSTITUTION: A mat winding device comprises a winder body and a rotary unit(30). The winder body comprises a holder in which both ends of the shaft with the rolled mat are set. The rotary unit rotates the shaft. The rotary unit comprises a drive motor(31) and a joint(36). The joint is moved with the manipulation of an operation lever(40) in the axial direction. The joint has an insert groove(37) in which one end of the shaft is inserted. The joint is inserted and detached from the insert groove of the joint relate to the back and forth movement of the joint. A guide bar(38) is installed in one end of joint in parallel with the drive shaft.
