PURPOSE: A device and a method for diagnosing a cancer using an electromagnetic wave characteristic are provided to prevent interference and measurement errors between channels by removing an LO power distributer and using a signal data processor and a channel switch. A signal converter(30) converts the electromagnetic wave signal received from an antenna set to a switching result reception mode into an intermediate frequency. A controller includes a switching controller(42) and a data processor(45). The switching controller controls the switching operation of the switching unit. The data processor grasps the dielectric constant distribution image inside the human body from the converted intermediate frequency.
