PURPOSE: A urea injection control apparatus of a vehicle and a method thereof are provided to maximize the purifying efficiency of NOx while minimizing the consumption of the urea containing liquid by injecting the urea containing liquid required for the production of NH3 in an SCR catalyst. CONSTITUTION: A urea injection control method of a vehicle comprises the steps for detecting the driving condition, the temperature of SCR(Selective Catalyst Reduction) catalyst, and the purifying efficiency of NOx(S103), calculating the NH3 adsorption quantity according to the driving condition and the purifying efficiency of NOx by applying the SCR reaction model(S104,S105), and jetting the urea containing liquid to the front of the SCR catalyst through the operation of the dodging module by deciding the amount of the urea containing liquid according to the adsorption quantity of NH3(S106,S107).
