PURPOSE: A chair capable of height control is provided, which enables a user to easily sit on the chair by lifting a seat plate. CONSTITUTION: A chair capable of height control comprises a seat plate(100); a first frame(200) mounted on the lower part of the seat plate; a first gear shaft(300) axis-connected to the first frame to be rotated in the lateral direction of the seat plate; a second gear shaft which is axis-connected to the first frame in direction that is orthogonal to the first gear shaft and rotates in the direction that is orthogonal to rotational direction of the first gear shaft; a handle(400) which is connected to the first gear shaft and rotates; and a support(600) ascending and descending according to rotation of the second gear shaft.
