PURPOSE: A digital tuner is provided to confirm an error without an additional device by installing an error display unit in a demodulator when an error occurs. CONSTITUTION: A tuner(11) changes the inputted high frequency signal into an intermediate frequency. The tuner is comprised of one chip including an input synchronization unit, an amplifier, and a MOPLL integrated circuit. A demodulator(12) outputs the digital transmission stream data by demodulating the intermediate frequency outputted from the tuner. The demodulator is comprised of one chip including a voltage terminal, a synchronization terminal, a data terminal, an MPEG clock terminal, an error terminal, and a control signal terminal. An MPEG unit(13) selects the specific channel data through the synchronization terminal from the digital transmission stream data of the demodulator. The MPEG unit displays the selected specific channel data on the screen. An error display unit(14) displays the generation of the error of the demodulator. |
