PURPOSE: A variable carcass building drum is provided to convert a bead setting interval between a side ring and a center deck into multi-phase. CONSTITUTION: A variable carcass building drum comprises: a center deck(3) installed at a center deck support stand(2) arranged in a drum shaft(1); a side ring(4) near the center deck; a bead clamp(5) close to this side ring; a pressing roll(6) installed outside of the bead clamp; a finger(8) operated with a hinge shaft(7); and a center deck(9) between with the side ring.
