PURPOSE: A power train for an automatic transmission is provided to reduce the weight and manufacturing cost by reducing the total volume and the length of the power train. CONSTITUTION: An automatic transmission unit include a first operation member connected to an input shaft(10) of transmission unit, a second operation member, a third operation member, and four operation member. An output unit includes a fifth operation member, a sixth operation member, a seventh operation member, and an eight operation member. A friction member includes a first clutch(C-1), a second clutch(C-2), a third clutch(C-3), a fourth clutch(C-4), a first brake(B-1), and a second brake(B-2).
