PURPOSE: A fume exhaust system which discharges the fume created from the chemical experiments is provided to reduce the toxic gas by compulsorily exhausting the toxic gas from a work space of a main body. CONSTITUTION: A fume exhaust system comprises a main body(2), an opening/closing member(4), a receiving part, a duct part, an exhaust member(10), and a control member(12). The main body comprises a work space with one open side. The opening/closing member opens and closes the opening of the work space. The receiving part comprises as receiving space which can be open. The duct part forms an exhaust channel corresponding to the work space or the receiving space. The exhaust member compulsorily exhausts the gas from the work space or the receiving space. The control member controls the exhaust channel of the duct part.
