PURPOSE: A tool assembly is provided to prevent the separation of the cutting insert from the cutter during a process by maintaining stable clamping of the cutting insert. CONSTITUTION: A cutting insert(100) of a tool assembly includes an upper surface(101), a lower surface(102), two vertical surfaces(103,104) connecting the upper and lower surfaces, two horizontal surfaces(105,106), and a through hole(120). Sides(101-3,101-4) corresponding to the vertical surfaces act as a first cutting edge. Sides(101-5,101-6) corresponding to the lateral sides act as a second cutting edge. The vertical surfaces include upper and lower angled surfaces(103-2,103-1) adjacent to the upper and lower surfaces.
