<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handwriting image information input means and a handwriting image information input method, which allow a user of the handwriting image information input means to write easily and intuitively desired handwriting image information, using the handwriting image information input means, onto an arbitrary portion on video image information displayed in a video image information display means, in a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: In the image information display 1, a video image recording means 2, a video image information display means 3, and the handwriting image information input means 4 are connected to each other via a computation control means 5.
