<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video image display apparatus with which the carsick reduction effect does not fade. <P>SOLUTION: The video image display apparatus 1 can be installed in a vehicle. The apparatus 1 includes an OSD circuit 112, a display 12, and a CPU 14. The OSD circuit 112 receives a video image and an object, and forms a synthetic video image synthesized with the object in a predetermined synthetic region, in addition to the video image. The display 12 displays the synthetic video image outputted from the OSD circuit 112. The CPU 14 determines the synthetic position of the object in the synthetic region, and direct it to the OSD circuit, whenever the acceleration of the vehicle is acquired.
