<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell power generation system for draining efficiently residual moisture in a flow passage of a cooling water separator and not damaging a specific unit cell and having stability and durability, and provide a fuel cell power generation method. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell power generation system includes a solid polymer membrane 14, a fuel electrode 13, an oxidant electrode 15, an oxidant gas supplying means, an oxidant gas exhausting means, a cooling water separator 11 provided with a porous body 20 arranged to contact with the fuel electrode and the oxidant electrode and having a flow passage 19 for flowing the cooling water in order to cool down the fuel electrode and the oxidant electrode, a water supplying means, a water exhausting means, means 27, 29, 33, 38 for making the oxidant electrode into an airtight condition so that the oxidant gas may not pass inside the oxidant electrode, and a water removing means 40 for accelerating reaction of the oxidant gas residing with the oxidant electrode and the fuel to consume the residual oxidant gas making an inside of the oxidant electrode in a minus pressure and making the residual water in the flow passage of the cooling water separator shifted to and absorbed by the porous body by way of using a pressure difference between the oxidant electrode 15 and the cooling water separator flow passage 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
