<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated circuit suitable for a multifunctional electronic apparatus connected with a peripheral device as an interface. <P>SOLUTION: This integrated circuit wherein a main processing part and a peripheral connection port for connecting the peripheral device are connected by an internal bus has an auxiliary processing part controlling the peripheral connection port, and performing the control of data transfer and an interrupt from the peripheral device connected to the peripheral connection port in place of the main processing part.
