<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable capacity type turbocharger capable of reducing a part to be operated under high temperature circumstances. <P>SOLUTION: This variable capacity type turbocharger 100 comprises: a turbine housing 1 surrounding a turbine wheel 55; and a first nozzle 10 and a second nozzle 20 provided in the turbine housing 1 and arranged along the turbine wheel 55. The turbine housing 1 is provided with: an inlet 4 as an exhaust flow-in passage; a first flow passage 11 continued to the inlet 4 to lead exhaust to the first nozzle 10; a second flow passage 21 continued to the inlet 4 to lead exhaust into the second nozzle 20; and a wastegate flow passage 30 for leading exhaust supplied from the inlet 4 to a downstream side of the turbine wheel 55 without passing through the turbine wheel 55. A control valve 40 capable of straightly moving in a certain direction is provided in the inlet of the first flow passage 11, the second flow passage 21 and the wastegate flow passage 30. In response to position of the control valve 40, exhaust is led to, at least, any one of the first flow passage 11, the second flow passage 21 and the wastegate flow passage 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
