<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical toothbrush with a separable brush head having electrical elements. <P>SOLUTION: An oral care instrument (1000) designed for use in the oral cavity has a handle (1012) defining a hollow inner space, and a head (1016) which can be attached to or detached from the handle. The head includes one or more electrical elements (1020 and 1075).
