<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water receiving structure for a piping connection part in a bathtub which prevents water to be spattered from the piping connection part from dropping onto a construction frame, and also facilitates attachment work and a maintenance work of a piping connection part. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The water receiving structure includes a water receiving cover 14 attached to a water receiving pan 12 so as to cover the side area of the piping connection part 108. The water receiving cover 14 is slidably attached to the water receiving pan 12 so as to allow the water receiving cover 14 to be close to or separated from the bathtub sidewall 106. Consequently, the water receiving cover 14 is slid to be switched between a state where the water receiving cover 14 is made to be close to or separated from the bathtube sidewall 106 so as to improve an action to receive water spattering from the piping connection part 108 and a state where the space for performing the works for the attachment and maintenance of the piping connection part 106 without removing the water receiving cover 14 is secured.
