PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distortion compensation circuit for matching the mutual timings of an input signal and an output signal with as simple configurations as possible. SOLUTION: The distortion compensation circuit 1 includes: a model estimation part 2 for estimating a model expressing the input/output characteristics of an amplifier 10; a distortion compensation part 4 for performing distortion compensation for canceling the distortion of the input/output characteristics of the amplifier 10 by adding an inverse model to the model to the input signal; a peak comparison part 9 for detecting the appearance of a peak value about each of the input signal and output signal of the amplifier 10, and for detecting the time difference of the appearance of those peak values; and a delay adjustment part 5 for providing the input signal delayed only by the time difference to the model estimation part 2.
