The equipment delivers sorted bottle caps (2) via a pneumatic delivery unit (32) to a conveyer (9) sending them to e.g. a bottle-capping and sealing machine. In the new design, an exit section (16) for the caps extends over the entire width of the sorting unit. Sorted caps enter a pneumatic delivery unit (32) forming part of the pneumatic/mechanical delivery section (8). They are transferred-out in contact with a guide plate (24) in the penetrating vibratory mechanism (27, 28) associated with the entry section (23). The caps are led out into the conveying system (9) in a row.
