ULTRASOUND SYSTEM HAVING VIRTUAL KEYBOARD AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An ultrasound system and a method for controlling a virtual keyboard thereof are provided to improve an input speed of a user by comprising a control panel without an alpha-numeric keyboard. CONSTITUTION: A virtual keyboard image forming unit(120) forms a keyboard for receiving the input of a user with a touch method. A touch screen unit(130) displays the keyboard image. The touch screen unit receives the input of the user with the touch method. A controller(140) controls the formation and display of the keyboard image. The controller controls the control operation for displaying the corresponding keyboard image by determining the input situation. The keyboard image includes an input confirmation area to display the contents inputted through a button area of the displayed keyboard image. A button formed on the button region is long formed in up and down directions.
