<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding type tripod constant velocity joint reduced in heat treatment distortion and improved in torsional fatigue strength of a boss part of a tripod. <P>SOLUTION: The sliding type tripod constant velocity joint is provided with a shaft 40, a tripod 20, and a connection means 50. The shaft 40 is constituted of a shaft body 41 and a first uneven part 44 formed on the end surface of the shaft body 41 in the axial direction. The tripod 20 is constituted of a boss part 21, a tripod shank 22, a through-hole 23, and a second uneven part 24 formed on the end surface of the boss part 21 on one side thereof. The connection means 50, which penetrates the through-hole 23, is engaged with the end surface of the boss part 21 on the other side to axially engage the first uneven part 44 with the second uneven part 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
