<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing packaged drinks which can simplify a device for rapidly cooling the drinks to the normal temperature after heat sterilization, and its control alleviate the requirements for depressurizing deformation resistance of a container, and improve the working environment by eliminating the heat sterilizing step after filling and sealing and simplifying the facility without any need to use any medical agent or aseptic water. <P>SOLUTION: A tea drink of pH 4.6 or more that contains 30 mg% or more of catechin, or an acidic drink of less than pH 4.6 is heat-sterilized and maintained at 60-70°C, while at least the inner side of a container is heat-sterilized and cleaned by hot water at 65-100°C. The drink is filled in the sterilized container at a filling temperature of 60-70°C, sealed, and cooled down to a normal temperature of 40°C or less in an environment-controlled space isolated from the outside world in which the filling/sealing device and its surrounding environment are heat-sterilized and cleaned by hot water of a temperature of 65-96°C under the atmospheric pressure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
