<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact reed valve for exhaust control of an engine capable of smoothly making a large quantity of exhaust gas flow, by reducing exhaust resistance thereby, when opening a reed valve plate. <P>SOLUTION: This reed valve for exhaust control of the engine is composed of a valve seat member 21 having a valve hole 25 capable of passing the exhaust gas of the engine E, the reed valve plate 22 capable of opening-closing the valve hole 25 by deflective deformation and installed in the valve seat member 21 so as to receive pressure of the exhaust gas in the opening direction, and a valve spring 23 energizing this reed valve plate 22 in the closing direction by a predetermined set load and regulating valve opening pressure of the reed valve plate 22. While dividing the valve hole 25 into a plurality of small valve holes 25a juxtaposed by sandwiching a partition wall 31, the read valve plate 22 is composed of a base part 22a fixed to the valve seat member 21 and a plurality of small valve plates 22b extending from this base part 22a and capable of individually opening-closing the plurality of small valve holes 25a, and a void 27 facing to the partition wall 31 is arranged between the plurality of small valve plates 22b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
