PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool setting the over-current setting value of a motor according to the use conditions of an end tool driven by the motor. SOLUTION: This power tool includes: the motor 103 for driving the end tool 5: and an overload protective means 123 for stopping the motor 103 if a load current I flowing through the motor 103 exceeds the over-current set value I2 and lowering the rotating speed N of the motor. The overload protective means 123 has an over-current set value selector means 142 for setting over-current set values I1, I2 according to the use conditions of the end tool 5.
